Beontag launches Steelwave Edge, the latest addition to the company’s on-metal RFID portfolio

Featuring support for Impinj Gen2X, Steelwave Edge was engineered to bridge the gap between performance and cost, offering a versatile mid-range solution for the most cost-critical applications.

Powered by the Latest Impinj M830 IC with Gen2X 

Steelwave Edge uses the latest Impinj M830 IC with support for Gen2X, an enhancement to the radio and logical layers of the Gen2 RAIN RFID protocol that increases tag read range, inhibits tag and item counterfeiting, and reduces solution cost.
